Call of Duty MW3 Fans Watch-out: Season 1 is here

For all the fans of “Call of Duty MW3” out there, here is the big bonanza for you! MW3 is releasing its season 1 on December 6. 

Highlights: 

• Activision has chosen December 6 as D-Day for the release of Season 1. Enhanced gameplay, new maps, modes, and updates are on the way. 
• Along with Season 1, you will get to see new multiplayer modes, namely – Training Facility, Greece, and Meat.
• Also, Gunfight mode is returning along with the much-anticipated Shipment and Rio Map.

Activision Finally Confirmed It All!

Fans should mark Wednesday, December 6 on their calendars, as Activision has confirmed, as the launch date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1. Entering the long-running first-person shooter genre, Call of Duty MW3 has proven to be a contentious game. While MW3’s other game modes have either been controversial or downright rejected, many fans have been enjoying the game’s multiplayer features.

Moreover, several critics and fans have called the MW3 Campaign as one of the worst in history. However, Modern Warfare 3’s Zombie mode received mixed reviews. While some enjoyed this open-world Zombie’s Approach, others suggested that its classic round-based Zombies were more enjoyable than this.  

Furthermore, Activision does have an approach to please fans through regular future updates, improving the overall gaming experience. Modern Warfare 3 will receive its first major post-launch update when Season 1 launches i.e., On December 6. New multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 will be available, along with the first appearance of Urzikstan in the Warzone battle royale and other features.

New Maps Introduced in Call of Duty MW3

Fans will have three new multiplayer maps to explore when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 comes on December 6. There will be two new 6v6 maps: Meat and Greece. Meat is referred to as a “compact” map. Greece is a medium-sized map set in a beach town; Meat is placed in a butcher shop. Meanwhile, the first Gunfight map in Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 is Training Facility, which will also be playable upon its release. A glimpse of new maps is provided below:

Updates in Call of Duty MW3 Zombie Mode

It’s reasonable to assume that the great majority of Call of Duty MW3 gamers will be preoccupied with the implications of the multiplayer mode of the Season 1 update. Some, meanwhile, might be more intrigued by the upcoming Zombies game mode. The Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode plot will be continued in Season 1 with the addition of Dark Aether Rifts, which will have timed challenges.

The arrival of Urzikstan in Call of Duty: Warzone will bring about a significant modification to the gameplay. As players of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer already know, the game has significantly altered movement from MW2 to MW3. One such modification is the return of slide canceling. The addition of MW3 multiplayer movement to Warzone is sure to please die-hard Warzone fans, and on December 6th, they will be able to test it out for themselves.

More Updates: Estimated File Size & Preload

Based on the MW2 Season 1 download size from the previous year, the file size should be between 30 and 35 GB, though this could vary. While a significant makeover and a major battle royale area are anticipated for Warzone, MW3 Multiplayer, and Zombies are also anticipating substantial quantities of content, which could result in larger files.

Larger than usual title upgrades during the last few seasons of MW2 resulted in a reduction in the overall game size, however, the new material required the download of 20–40GB of data. Call of Duty MW3’s download windows should go much more smoothly than MW2’s did.

The Black Ops 1’s V-R11 wonder weapon and the Cold War-era Dark Aether rifts, which will present players with a fresh challenge on Urzikstan, are confirmed to be back.
