In response to Epic’s previous teases and the Big Bang event announcement about the Fortnite Live Event. Reliable Fortnite insiders have stated that Chapter 5 will be the biggest update the game “has ever had and will ever have.” Let’s unravel the details of this so called “The Biggest Update!”
Fortnite has spent previous months making an incredible comeback, smashing its all-time player record twice in the space of a few days. Courtesy of the wildly popular Fortnite: OG mini-season. But it seems the blast from the past was just the start, as Epic hints that the scheduled Big Bang event next month will be monumental for the game.
Fortnite Live Event Latest Updates
December is looking like it could be the biggest month in Fortnite history thanks to the addition of a brand-new battle royale island, a racing mode centered around Rocket League, a new Lego mode, and a new Harmonix rhythm game. Let’s examine what we now understand.
Indeed! This is the longest break for Fortnite live events since the game’s inception in Chapter 1. But at the very end of Fortnite OG, we’re finally getting one, titled, The Big Bang. It’s happeining on Saturday, December 2 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET.
Even while most of the event’s details will likely be kept under wraps until it starts, Epic has already revealed the most crucial information: Rapper Eminem will play a significant role in the Big Bang event. Starting on November 29, three of his skins will be available in the item shop, with one of them receiving a special style just for those who attend The Big Bang. Marshall Never More is a premium skin that costs money, but buyers will also get a special extra style from the occasion. You also don’t need to be the skin’s previous owner. The game will remember and unlock the bonus style for you if you purchase Marshall Never More after the event and then play it a year later.
It’s probable that this event will reimagine Chapter 1’s The End event, where a black hole swallowed the battle royale island. But unlike that event, Fortnite won’t end with a total offline experience.

When does Fortnite Live Event kicks-off?
Fortnite Live Event: Chapter 5 will kick off early on Sunday, December 3, although Epic Games has not disclosed the exact date and launch time. In-game data, including the period when the game goes offline for the Chapter 5 patch, has provided an estimate.
What to Expect from Chapter 5
Although there hasn’t been much information released about any new gameplay elements or changes, a new map will likely be made during The Big Bang event. That’s probably because of the numerous leaks about new modes that aren’t part of BR.
The map known as Helios is presently present in the Fortnite game files. Given that Helios deviates from the tradition of the four previous Battle Royale maps, which were all named after Greek deities whose names began with the letter A, it may be a clue that this is not the new map. Still, it is likely possible.
Let’s now discuss the other material, which should be released following Chapter 5. Thus, the game will continue to have both battle royale and Creative mode when Chapter 5 launches. However, Epic is expected to release three significant new game modes at some point in Chapter 5 Season 1.
Rocket League Racing
Using Rocket League vehicle mechanics, this racing mode is a crossover with Epic’s Rocket League. It will definitely offer a luxurious kart racing experience. Likely, at least part of the cars you possess in Rocket League will cross over. With Fortnite and Rocket League creating a new shared cosmetic pool, because Fortnite Crew has been offering the Rocket Pass for a time.
To be clear, in the cases of Lego, Festival, and Rocket League Racing, we are talking about leaks and rumors exclusively. However, almost everything indeed leaks in Fortnite, and these leaks seem reliable! So we are hoping things materialize soon likely after Fortnite Live Event.

Fortnite x Lego
After a year of rumors and leaks, this cooperation is finally occurring. Fortnite x Lego sounds a lot like a competitor to Minecraft with a Lego logo that is integrated into Fortnite. Playing as a customizable mini-figure, you’ll gather materials and use them to make and construct objects in this mode. Unlike the cosmetics we’ve been accumulating for years for the battle royale and creative modes, Lego Fortnite will have its system. It doesn’t appear like you will be able to use your Darth Vader skin in Lego Fortnite.
One of the purported highlights of the mode is the Digital Twin, which allows you to import your likeness, created with actual Lego minifigs, into the game. However, we haven’t heard anything new about that in a long time.
Fortnite Festival by Harmonix
A rhythm game from Harmonix, the company that created Guitar Hero, has been long-rumored as well. There is no mention of actual instruments in this mode, which sounds like Fortnite’s version of Rock Band. Like any other Fortnite mode, you should at the very least anticipate being able to play this one with a controller or keyboard. But hopefully, instrument compatibility will be added soon. If so, it wouldn’t be out of the question, that it will be compatible with your USB Rock Band guitar. So be prepared for this blow!
Along with new songs to perform, this mode appears to come with its own set of microtransactions. It might also including in-game instruments and clothes and, of course, Thunder by Imagine Dragons, Poker Face by Lady Gaga, Toto by Africa, and Numb by Linkin Park, according to HypeX. Rumors suggest that Fortnite Lobby Tracks might also play, potentially implying that Festival-purchased songs will function as Lobby Tracks.
In addition to this, there are no rumors of any kind about the looks and likes of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 battle pass. So fans might have to hold on to this one till the Fortnite Live Event kicks off!
Wrapping Up The Fortnite Live Event
Epic hinted at a massive Big Bang event for Fortnite, but the anticipation suggests something even more significant. Fortnite insider RealShiina confirmed the event, emphasizing a “new beginning” for Fortnite. Shiinabr declared that Chapter 5 will be Fortnite’s most significant and final chapter ever.
The extent of the Fortnite upgrade will have to wait until Chapter 5 launches next month! However it’s important to remember that earlier leaks suggested that an open-world role-playing game mode was in the works. Although we haven’t heard anything about that new mode in a while, it does appear to be a significant “evolution”.
