The 2023 Game Awards are now over, but not before they gave us a glimpse into a celebration of the industry’s history and future. The Game Awards is undoubtedly a presentation that celebrates the amazing games and developers from the previous year, even though it also features big announcements and info about upcoming titles. All of the major winners from the evening will be included in this piece, including the highly sought-after Game of the Year title, which is even more noteworthy given the enormous success of 2023. Even though there were many games this year that could have all been contenders for Game of the Year in previous years, only one was able to take home the title this time, and that game was Baldur’s Gate 3.<\/p>
Baldur’s Gate 3 took home multiple awards, including Best RPG, Best Multiplayer, Best Community Support, and Player’s Voice, in addition to being named Game of the Year and having its Xbox version shadowdropped. Best Art Direction, Best Story, and Best Game Direction were the next three awards won by Alan Wake 2.<\/p>
